Tata Young Expressions is an annual competition conducted internationally by the TATA Group for the children of its employees. The competition receives participation from children all over the world, and this year, more than 1500 children participated. Shivangi Thakur of Class 10 took part in the ‘Brush Strokes’ category with the theme “The future and me”, and secured the second position with a cash prize of Rs.15,000/-.  Shivangi and her parents would like to donate a part of her prize money to the school for the education of poor children. This is the second time Shivangi has done us proud.  In December 2020 too, she stood 2nd in the Global Speech Competition ‘Voice of the eye’ organized by Project Vision, beating 371 participants from 8 countries for the coveted position. She donated Rs.12,000/- of her prize money of Rs.15,000/- to the school.

At this tender age, Shivangi has realized the importance of education as a means to uplift the disadvantaged section of society.   She has imbibed well the values of kindness and compassion from school and home, and we are deeply touched by her generosity.

Thank you Shivangi.  You are indeed an inspiration to all of us.
